After carefully evaluating the site and the customer’s business needs, our energy experts recommended the use of Sungrow and Jinko components for this project.

Proposed panel layout

Site assessment and space availability

To plan the panel layout for a 100kW solar installation, the technical process involves a comprehensive site assessment to evaluate the available space, shading patterns, and structural considerations. The design team then configures the panel arrangement to optimize energy production, including determining the number and size of panels, grouping them into compatible strings, and ensuring proper spacing and airflow.

Electrical and structural engineering

Electrical and structural engineering work is also conducted to select the appropriate inverters, mounting systems, and comply with local codes, culminating in a detailed installation plan that addresses logistical challenges and quality control measures.

After conducting all technical surveys, we proposed following design:

Daily production per month

Energy consumption varies throughout the year, influenced by seasonal changes and varying heating and cooling needs. In the early months, particularly January, energy usage tends to peak, with consumption reaching as high as 541kWh. This high usage likely corresponds to the increased heating requirements during winter.

As we move into spring, energy consumption begins to decrease, with April and May seeing lower values of 386kWh and 270kWh respectively. The lowest energy consumption occurs in June, with only 161kWh, indicating minimal heating or cooling needs.

During the summer months, although there is a slight increase in energy usage, it remains relatively low compared to winter months. For example, in July and August, consumption is recorded at 200kWh and 243kWh respectively.

As the year progresses into fall, energy consumption starts to climb again. By October and November, the values rise to 319kWh and 436kWh, respectively. This upward trend continues into December, with energy usage reaching 532kWh, similar to the high levels seen at the beginning of the year.

This annual pattern highlights how energy consumption is closely tied to seasonal changes, with higher usage during the colder months and lower consumption during the warmer periods. Understanding these trends can help in planning and optimizing energy usage throughout the year.

100kW commercial solar system – Technical details
